Jen Creighton
Principal
Jen is from Seattle and has deep experience in development and construction in the Puget Sound Region.
Prior to forming B+E, Jen served in executive leadership roles with large commercial general contractors and developers in the Puget Sound Region. In these roles she was instrumental in the growth of each firm.
Jen has a vast network of partners in the design, development, and construction industry, and is adept at building high-functioning teams with successful and predictable outcomes
Jen is a graduate of the University of Washington Construction Management program and Seattle University’s Executive Leadership Program and Executive MBA programs.
Jen serves as a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity for Seattle, King, and Kittitas Counties.
In her spare time, Jen loves international travel and boating.
Jon Bunnell
Principal
With over a billion dollars of work in place, Jon has a proven track record of delivering results from concept to occupancy. Jon has 30+ years of hands-on experience and a quarter century in Seattle's volatile markets, He creates immediate results for the wide range of projects he has helped. He brings an energy and focus to the teams he works with, is a trusted guide and valuable team member. Clients who work with him recognize that he holds their success above his own, he makes the teams he joins produce better outcomes.
Jon started in the trades as a union carpenter working in the Brooklyn Navy Yard for a startup in 1989. He relocated to Seattle in 1993, earning a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. He went on to take leadership roles for some of the largest, most innovative local builders in town. His focus on client success and mentoring the next generation of builders earned him a reputation for being a reliable partner.
He has provided independent construction management services in the Pacific Northwest since 2014 on a wide variety of projects.
Matt Rankin
Senior Associate
Matt has spent over 20 years as a construction professional in the greater Seattle area with both field and management experience. Matt has experience with a variety of project types include podium style mixed-use, commercial, TI, restaurants, seismic retrofitting, low-income housing, senior housing, and single-family homes.
He provides strong organizational and leadership skills, a distinctive knowledge base and a proven track record of accomplishment. Matt creates and develops teams focused on positivity, success, and meeting client’s goals.
Sarah Carlson
Senior Associate
Sarah brings 25 years of expertise in managing high-impact projects across various commercial markets. She has a proven track record of successfully leading design and construction teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. Most recently, she served as a Sr. Construction Project Manager managing construction of the Seattle Storm Center for Basketball Performance project.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Architectural Studies and B.S. in Construction Management from the University of Washington and is DBIA Certified.
Paiton Tunstall
Assistant Project Manager
Paiton recently joined B+E to provide project management and construction communication support.
Paiton has provided project management support in commercial and non-profit settings providing project and program management, change management, quality and process improvement, and logistics operations planning.
These various lenses have helped her create a deep understanding of systems that create successful projects as a whole while still being able to focus on small details.
One thing that Paiton has learned vital to all this work is that relationships must be built on a strong foundation of trust, respect, and honesty. She believes it is crucial to meet others where they are and move forward aligned and united. This has ultimately led to successful outcomes and project experiences.
Xander Pantalones
Barketing Assistant
Xander has over 9 years of barketing experience. He is always ready to lend a paw on any projects. Known for his keen ability to catch frisbees and perform tricks for treats, this pup is a furtastic asset to the B+E team.
Ready to provide input on meetings with a resounding “woof”, Xander is always ready to work (especially if paid in cheese). This furry friend is a positive morale leader and happy to cover everyone in his wake with fur and dog kisses.
