In 2020 the Chief Seattle Club embarked on a new mixed use development project to house urban Native Americans. ?ál?al ("Home" in Lushootseed) stands at eight-stories tall and totals approximately 53,000 square SF. The building included a separate commercial condominium for the Seattle Indian Health Board's medical clinic. The Seattle Indian Health Board provides culturally attuned traditional Indian medicine and western medical care to the Native American population and is a federally qualified healthcare facility. B+E supported SIHB by managing design, entitlement, construction, and all Commerce grant facilitation. In November 2022, Washington State NAIOP awarded SIHB the community impact award of the year.
