The Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) is a federally qualified health care center that serves members of tribal Nations from across the United States. The new 40,000 SF Thunderbird Treatment Center will provide culturally attuned treatment for Native American's seeking drug and alcohol rehabilitation as well as job and life skills. SIHB will offer an innovative model allowing women and families to seek care on site together.

In 2022 SIHB engaged B+E to assist them with the search for a new home for the Thunderbird Treatment Center. B+E provided early conceptual proforma development and due diligence support as well as full suite of project management services including design team selection & management, grants support budget and schedule updates, contractor selection and construction management. The project has completed the design phase and has been submitted for permit. Construction is estimated to begin in February 2025 and be completed in December 2025.
